Im a vampire of course, laughed the Man in a deep rich voice. You are to now, and once youre well fed youll be able to feel your new powers running through your veins. Until then you should stay here. Youre not in controlled of your self and I dont want you getting into trouble right after youre turned. That would look bad for me. Mouth gapping open Cole stood staring dumbfounded at the Vampire in front of him. Mind spinning, he slowly raised his hand to his heart. Unsure of how to comprehend what he was hearing, or how he should comprehend it. Eyes widening when he was unable to find any form of a heart beat. After the first shock of knowing he was dead, a slightly twisted grin spread across Coles face. Eyes shinning eclectic blue he thought of things he could do to get back at people he didnt like.
Wait, who are you? Cole asked grin slipping as he remembered that he wasnt alone.
Im your creator. The man said smiling like you would smile at a prized possession. My name is Eric, your lord, and commander. You fallow my command. as he pronounced this, his face transfigured into a vamparic form. How about I show you how to hunt, Im sure youre starving. Cole could sense an alternate reasoning behind Erics wanting to go hunting. But because he was blinded by revenge at people he used to know and wanting to know more about his new power. He pushed away any form of a conscience he still had. Blindly fallowing Eric out of the room not even bothering to look and see where he was. Eric ran towards something that seemed to be just out of Coles eyesight, which had improved greatly, as had his speed and agility. Surprised by how fast he was able to go Cole was still having a hard time staying caught up with Eric. Who seemed to be taking a nice stroll through the woods.
With in seconds they had run what would have normally taken Cole about an hour. They stopped outside of a large town. It was almost midnight but the lights from the city light up the area like noonday. Shielding his eyes from the light, Cole groaned from the thought of maybe having to enter the city. However, to his delight Eric turned and walked around the city. He hadnt said anything aloud but Cole could hear Erics voice in his head commanding, You weight outside of the city lights. Nodding to show that he understood, Cole slid into the Shadows. Watching as Eric, calmly make his way into a deserted street and disappear.
Watching impatiently for Eric to return Cole tested out his senses. Closing his eyes, he tried to hear, the muffled hum of words coming from the city. Smiling as he was able to make out every word that was said. Getting bored with the conversations, he was hearing. Cole turned his attention to a black shape moving silently around just inside the city. Focusing completely on the object, he lost touch with everything around him.
Cole could feel chills run down his back as he recognized the object he was looking at was Eric. He could barley make out what he was doing but it looked as if he was holding an unconscious person. Waiting for the disgust to sink in Cole watched as Eric sank his teeth into the persons neck. Even from the distance, he could see the color drain from the persons face. He could feel the persons heart slowing down, every beat a little bit slower. Ripping his eyes from the sight, he shivered, remembering how it felt to have fangs sink into your skin. The complete and utter numbness that comes with it, then the sudden rush of memories and all the emotions that comes with them.
Before he could think anymore, he heard Eric walking towards him. His teeth were still out and you could see a little blood shinning around his mouth. Walking close behind him was a zombie looking person. Before he had time to ask Eric if he had turned the person, his question was answered.
Ive brought you food. Eric said in a mildly tired voice. Suddenly feeling the emptiness in his body, and smelling the fresh blood so close to him Cole could feel his desire for food. Eyes turning black fangs sprouting from his mouth Cole advanced on the person. Not bothering to try to relax the person with his mind Cole sank his fangs gently into her neck. As if from an outsiders prospective Cole saw bits and pieces of her life, he distantly felt the joy and pains. Finally coming back to him self as the girls heartbeat slowed and the girl died.
Eyes going back to normal he licked his lips clean before lowering the body to the ground. With out warning Eric grabbed Cole and fiercely yanked him away, before the body burst into flames. Then just turned and walked away. Eyes wide Cole watches as the tress around them went up in flames. Feeling the heat from the fire around him Cole swiftly fallowed after Eric. Unsure of what was going to happen next.
